These “Villa Tips” are designed as a reference to assist in the planning, preparation, and greatest enjoyment of your stay in a Casa de Campo. Villa Staff
Our friendly Villa Staff will prepare and serve your breakfast daily, provide general housekeeping and cleaning, assist with questions or service requests, prepare sandwiches or other light fare, and generally attend to your needs. Extended hours for baby sitting etc. may be arranged thru the Villa Manager.
Please note: The Villa's staff speak fluent Spanish.... Though their English is limited, they can generally understand your requests.

Pool Safety
The Villa has it's own private pool. We urge you to use prudence and supervise children at all times. Water safety measures in the privacy of your villa are the guests’ responsibility. The marble floors inside the villa become very slippery with wet feet! We advise the use of plenty of sunscreen.

Dining in the Villa
The Villa has comfortable dining room seating for 10. Upon request, we will arrange for a cook to prepare your meals and assemble fine, healthy appetizer plates.

Telephone Use
There are telephones in most every room and in all bedrooms. Non-local calls made during your stay will be charged to your account. It is generally expensive to dial internationally, therefore we recommend bringing a laptop computer so you may email your family and friends. The Villa has "High Speed" internet service available for you to plug your portable computer into. This is a free service. We have a Vonage phone at the villa for guests to make calls to the US and Canada which is also free.

Additional Transportation
At your request, we will arrange for transportation or taxi. Car rental is available at the Hotel. Getting around the resort is generally by 4 passenger "Touring Carts". All are available for a nominal fee.

Laundry Services
The Villa has it's own laundry facilities. Our housekeeping staff will do your laundry for you. Dry Cleaning is available at a nominal fee.

Special Villa Treats
Our staff will arrange to have any selected items you may like at the villa upon your arrival. You can email the Villa Manager with a short list of items such as treats, wine and beer, sandwiches etc.

Internet Service
"High Speed" internet service is available free of charge at the villa. There is a desk area where you can set up your own laptop computer and plug into the service.

Eletricity Voltage
The Villa outlets are 110 volts (same as USA). Adapters (for our European visitors) are available upon request. Hairdryers are provided in each bathroom.

Temperature
All year round the daytime temperature at Casa de Campo varies between 77* (25* C) and 86* (29* C).

Deposit Cancellation Policy
Year round (except for stays Mid December thru Mid January) :
A 50% deposit is required within 7 days to confirm reservations. Reservations will automatically be cancelled if deposit is not received within seven days. Full prepayment is due 45 days prior to arrival date. Refunds may be available up to 60 days prior to occupancy.
For stays during the Holidays Season, Mid December thru Mid January:
A 50% partially-refundable deposit is required to confirm reservations. Full prepayment is due by October 1st. After October 1st, all payments are non-refundable.

Additional Info
You can arrange for most of your needs through our villa staff. In addition, there is a supermarket in the Marina where you can find a good variety of practical supplies and nearly anything you might need. There is a pharmacy in La Romana, but you should insure that you bring adequate supplies of prescription medications. There is a nurse on staff at Casa de Campo and an excellent medical center in La Romana.
